In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, efficient order handling, and expert beverage and food knowledge. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure guests feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied from the moment they arrive until their departure. Duties

• Greet guests warmly, assist with seating arrangements, and provide menus with enthusiasm.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and precision.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Process cash transactions accurately, handle credit card payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms, and issue receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while managing multiple tables efficiently.
• Assist with food handling, beverage service, bussing tables, and supporting host/hostess duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and food safety protocols to educate guests and enhance their experience.
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly with a positive attitude to foster guest loyalty.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales transaction processing.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage guests professionally.
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions smoothly.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.
