WAITER

1. Guest Service & Order Taking

• Welcome and greet guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Present menus, explain menu items, and provide recommendations on food, beverages, and specials.
• Accurately take and relay food and beverage orders, including special requests, to the kitchen and bar. Assist guests promptly and professionally with inquiries, concerns, and feedback. Regularly check on guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues during service.

2. Food & Beverage Service

• Serve food and beverages promptly according to company service standards and proper sequencing. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper presentation of all orders before serving.
• Clear used dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables efficiently during and after service.

3. Table Setup & Dining Area Maintenance

• Prepare tables before service, including setting up linens, cutlery, glassware, condiments, and menus.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and restrooms.
• Assist in opening and closing duties, including cleaning, table resetting, and side station preparation. Ensure all service areas are fully stocked with necessary supplies such as napkins, utensils, and condiments.

4. Payment Handling & Order Accuracy

• Present bills to guests and ensure accuracy before processing payments. Handle cash, credit cards, and digital transactions in accordance with company procedures. Issue receipts and ensure proper turnover of payments to the cashier or system.
• Verify that all orders are complete and correctly delivered to guests.

5. Team Coordination & Operational Support

• Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, and service teams to ensure smooth and timely order flow.
• Report shortages of supplies, damaged items, or equipment issues to supervisors.
• Assist team members during peak hours to maintain service efficiency.

6. Food Safety, Hygiene & Compliance

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Maintain personal grooming and proper uniform standards while on duty.
• Comply with company policies, service procedures, and operational guidelines.

7. Customer Experience

• Create a positive, welcoming, and enjoyable dining experience for all guests. Build customer goodwill through attentive, respectful, and proactive service.
• Contribute to maintaining the restaurant’s service reputation and guest satisfaction.

8. Other Duties

• Perform additional tasks assigned by Management to support restaurant operations.
