• Greeting & Seating: Welcome guests, seat them promptly, and provide menus.
• Order Taking: Listen to orders, use POS (Point of Sale) systems or order pads, and relay requests to the kitchen.
• Menu Knowledge: Explain menu items, highlight daily specials, answer allergy questions, and suggest upselling options.
• Food Service: Deliver food and drinks accurately, check presentation, and verify guest satisfaction during the meal.
• Table Maintenance: Clear dirty plates, glasses, and silverware (pre-bussing), and reset tables for new guests.
• Payments: Present bills, process cash, credit card, or digital transactions, and give back change.
• Hygiene & Safety: Follow health department regulations, keep stations clean, and handle food safety standards. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]

Required Skills

• Customer Service: Friendly, polite, and patient attitude, even during busy shifts.
• Communication: Clear verbal skills to talk with guests and coordinate with kitchen or bar staff.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for long hours.
• Multitasking: Managing multiple tables and orders at the same time.
