Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, and relay orders efficiently to kitchen staff
• Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism and flair, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Upsell menu items including wines, specialty drinks, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately while handling cash handling duties responsibly
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
• Build rapport with guests through attentive service, guest relations, and personalized recommendations to ensure a memorable dining experience

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in math calculations
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or bartender is a plus; culinary experience is highly valued
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service

Pay: $17.00 per hour
