Waiter

We are seeking a professional, courteous, and customer-focused Waiter with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the hospitality industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service, attending to guests’ needs, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and attend to their needs professionally.
• Present menus and explain available meals and beverages.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Ensure tables and dining areas are clean, properly arranged, and ready for guests.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction with meals and service.
• Handle guest requests and complaints courteously.
• Present bills and process payments accurately when required.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and other hotel departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Maintain proper hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Replenish table settings, condiments, and other service items as needed.
• Assist with restaurant opening and closing procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of an OND qualification from a recognised institution.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Waiter in a hotel or restaurant.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
• Professional appearance, good personal hygiene, and a positive attitude.
• Strong teamwork, organisational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
