Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and beverage service, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Process cash transactions accurately and handle credit card payments with attention to detail.
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, washing dishes, and sanitizing kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards.
• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation, basic cooking tasks, and food handling to support smooth kitchen operations.
• Support the front-of-house team by managing guest relations, addressing inquiries promptly, and upselling menu items to enhance sales.
• Uphold sanitation standards through proper food handling practices and ensure all areas meet health regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for processing sales transactions.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing sales accurately.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, beverage service, and cocktail preparation is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred; sanitation and food handling knowledge are essential.
