About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiters and Waitresses to join the team at Dharma Uluwatu, located in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a member of our front-of-house team, you will be the face of our establishment, providing outstanding service and creating memorable moments for every visitor. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring guest satisfaction remains at the forefront of everything we do.

What you'll be doing

• Welcoming guests warmly and seating them in designated areas with attention to comfort and convenience
• Taking accurate food and beverage orders whilst providing knowledgeable recommendations about menu items and specials
• Serving food and drinks professionally, ensuring correct items are delivered to the right guests promptly
• Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the dining area
• Checking in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and addressing any concerns immediately
• Processing payments accurately using point-of-sale systems and handling cash or card transactions with care
• Clearing and resetting tables efficiently between seatings
• Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service delivery
• Following health and safety protocols and food handling procedures at all times
• Assisting with special events, functions and private dining arrangements as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in a waitstaff or customer service role within a hospitality setting
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage warmly with guests from diverse backgrounds
• A professional appearance and strong attention to personal grooming standards
• Ability to remain calm and composed during busy service periods
• Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, or willingness to obtain relevant certification
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods whilst carrying trays and moving about the restaurant
• A genuine passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences
• Team player mentality with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Flexibility to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
