Job Summary

We are seeking a courteous, attentive, and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to provide excellent food and beverage service to guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking orders, serving meals, maintaining dining area cleanliness, and ensuring customers enjoy a pleasant dining experience.

Job Description

• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required.
• Present menus, explain available dishes and beverages, and provide recommendations where necessary.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate them promptly to the kitchen or bar.
• Serve food and beverages professionally and according to established service standards.
• Ensure orders are delivered to the correct tables and meet customer expectations.
• Check on guests during meals to ensure satisfaction and respond to additional requests.
• Handle customer complaints politely and escalate unresolved issues to the supervisor.
• Set up tables, arrange cutlery, glassware, napkins, and other dining essentials before service.
• Clear used plates, glasses, and cutlery promptly and maintain clean dining areas.
• Process bills and payments accurately when assigned, including operating the POS system.
• Maintain good knowledge of the menu, daily specials, ingredients, and available beverages.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other service personnel to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with restaurant setup, closing duties, and special events when required.
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and courteous communication with guests.

Pay: ₦80,000.00 per month
