About the role

The Royal Kitchen Bali is seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiters and Waitresses to join our hospitality team. This is a full-time position based in Bali, where you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service to our guests. As a member of our waiting staff, you will play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences and ensuring that every guest leaves satisfied with both our food and service. Your contribution directly impacts our reputation and success in this competitive hospitality market.

Key responsibilities

1. Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them according to restaurant procedures
2. Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations about dishes, beverages and specials
3. Take accurate food and drink orders from guests and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
4. Serve food and beverages promptly, professionally and at the correct temperature
5. Ensure all plates, glasses and cutlery are clean and properly positioned throughout the meal
6. Check in regularly with guests to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns immediately
7. Process payments and manage cash or card transactions accurately
8. Clear and reset tables efficiently between seatings, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
9. Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow
10. Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a hygienic work environment
11. Uphold The Royal Kitchen Bali's standards of professionalism and courtesy at all times

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience as a waiter or waitress in a restaurant or hospitality environment
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for customer service
3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
4. Professional appearance and demeanour, with the ability to maintain composure under pressure
5. Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and dining etiquette
6. Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian or other languages is advantageous
7. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays
8. A positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to work as part of a team
9. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
10. Hospitality or food service certification is preferred but not essential
