Waiter/Server

Job Summary

The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and attentive table and counter service to CHAI & BITES customers. The role ensures that orders are accurately taken, food and beverages are served promptly, and guests enjoy a clean, welcoming environment in accordance with brand hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly as they arrive and assist with seating or menu recommendations.
• Take accurate customer orders and input them efficiently into the POS system.
• Serve hot beverages, food, and menu items promptly and at the correct temperature.
• Maintain clean dining areas, tables, counters, and service stations throughout the shift.
• Handle cash, card, and digital payment transactions accurately.
• Assist with basic beverage preparation, packing takeaway orders, and restocking service supplies.
• Process delivery orders and coordinate smoothly with kitchen staff for order pickup.
• Handle customer inquiries or minor concerns politely and escalate issues to management when necessary.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including sweeping, wiping down tables, and inventory checks.
• Comply with health, safety, food hygiene, and personal grooming standards at all times.
• Perform any other front-of-house duties assigned by the Owner/Manager or Shift In charge

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Waiter/Waitress or Server in a QSR, café, or casual cafeteria.
• Good English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Computer literate with experience operating POS systems or digital ordering platforms.
• Strong customer service focus with a positive, energetic, and polite attitude.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure during peak rush hours.
• Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, and carrying trays for long shifts.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitization standards.

Requirements

• Age: 24–30 ( 1 male / 1 female)
• Language: Good English communication
• Technical Skills: Computer literate (POS operations)
• Working hours: 11 hours + 1 hours break
• Able to travel even late night (Restaurant closes at 1:30 AM)

Salary & Benefits

• Gross Salary: AED 2,200 per month
• Benefits: Provided Duty meals, Centralized Tip, Incentive
• Off: 1 off per week / Paid Annual Leave
• Preferably Own Visa

Pay: AED2,200.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Al Satwa: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
