Waiter/Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every guest feels valued and satisfied. Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, including Aloha POS and OpenTable.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with their selections.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a server or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
• Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is advantageous; experience with Aloha POS or OpenTable is a plus.
• Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety standards is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $17.70 - $17.75 per hour
