Waiter/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

• Greet and seat customers promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems, such as OpenTable.
• Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while adhering to food handling standards.
• Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests to enhance their dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and delivery.
• Process cash handling transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food industry.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or the restaurant industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
• Knowledge of food handling practices is essential for maintaining safety standards.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a high-pressure setting, such as a nightclub or busy restaurant.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service.
