Waiter/Server/Waitress

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage tables effectively by bussing, resetting, and ensuring cleanliness for the next guests
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering procedures and basic math calculations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food handling and sanitation protocols
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
• Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and providing exceptional customer service
• Support host/hostess duties when needed by managing guest arrivals and seating arrangements in a professional manner

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales and enhance guest experiences
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Strong guest relations skills with a focus on delivering memorable hospitality experiences
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
• Prior host/hostess or serving experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential

Pay: $19.60 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4.0 per week
