Waiter/Waitress

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, friendly and reliable Waiter / Waitress to join our team at our Italian restaurant in Dudley.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and helping to ensure that every customer has a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and drink orders accurately
• Provide information about menu items and answer customer questions
• Serve food and drinks efficiently
• Ensure tables are clean, tidy and properly prepared
• Check on customers throughout their dining experience
• Handle customer requests professionally
• Process payments when required
• Work closely with the kitchen and other members of the restaurant team
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment
• Previous waiter/waitress experience is essential
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Friendly and professional manner
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Good teamwork skills
• Good attention to detail

Salary

Minimum Wage, depending on experience
