Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance guest satisfaction
• Monitor tables to ensure timely service, address guest needs, and manage any concerns proactively
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including setting tables and clearing dishes
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and timely delivery of orders

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving procedures
• Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
• Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
