Waiter/Waitress

The Café Waiter/Waitress role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abuja.

Schedule is 1 day on and 1 day off after 1 week of training.

Responsibility: The Head Waiter will uphold the standard of guest service, ensuring guests receive professional, timely, and welcoming service from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities include accurate order taking and delivery.

The role involves close collaboration with kitchen and bar teams to maintain smooth communication, resolve service issues, and uphold hygiene and safety standards.

Request guest feedback, support upselling and menu knowledge, and contribute to a polished, consistent guest experience aligned with Café's service expectations.

Qualifications

Strong customer service skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction, professionalism, and conflict resolution.

Solid knowledge of food & beverage offerings, including menu items, drink pairings, and basic product knowledge.

Experience in food service operations, such as table coordination, order management, and service flow on busy shifts.

Excellent communication abilities for clear interaction with guests, team members, and kitchen/bar staff.

Basic understanding of allergen and safe serving processes to ensure accurate information and coordination with the kitchen and bar.

Previous experience as a Waiter, Host, senior wait staff in a restaurant, lounge, or hotel environment.

Strong coordinatio skills, with the ability to model consistent service standards.

Pay: ₦100,000.00 per month
