Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus in a courteous manner
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing genuine recommendations
• Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
• Handle payments accurately using the POS system and provide correct change or receipts
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout shifts
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues efficiently
• Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed, supporting overall restaurant operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
• Basic maths skills for processing payments accurately
• Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is beneficial but not essential
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales performance
• Culinary or hospitality qualifications are a plus but not required
