About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Waiters and Waitresses to join the team at Y Sport Bar Padang-Padang in Bali. This is a contract position offering an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant hospitality environment. Based in the heart of Bali, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional service to our diverse clientele of locals and international visitors. This role is integral to creating memorable dining and entertainment experiences that keep our guests returning.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and seat them at appropriate tables in accordance with our service standards
• Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage offerings
• Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
• Serve food and beverages promptly whilst maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit and respond promptly to any requests or concerns
• Process payments and handle cash or card transactions with accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, tables and service stations
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar and fellow service staff to ensure smooth operations
• Uphold company policies and health and safety regulations at all times
• Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the vibrant spirit of our establishment

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a waiter or waitress in a hospitality setting, preferably in a restaurant or bar environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests from diverse backgrounds
• Excellent customer service orientation with a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays safely
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette
• Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends
• Positive attitude and team-oriented approach to work
• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are advantageous
• Willingness to learn and adapt to our specific service procedures and menu offerings
