Waiting Staff

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Waitress / Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages accurately, ensuring presentation standards are maintained.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with licensing laws and company policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety standards at all times.
• Assist in setting up tables, clearing plates, and resetting areas for new guests.
• Provide attentive service to maximise customer satisfaction and encourage repeat visits.

Skills

• Proven experience in hospitality, particularly in serving or bartending roles within a restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers politely and professionally.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
• Basic maths skills for handling bills, payments, and tips accurately.
• Good time management to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
• A friendly personality with a positive attitude that enhances the guest experience.
