Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately for food and beverages
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including bartending duties as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and service stations
• Check guest IDs to verify legal drinking age and adhere to food safety regulations
• Manage multiple tables efficiently while providing attentive, friendly service
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and provide correct change
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Promote specials, menu items, and upcoming events to enhance guest experience
• Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with food safety guidelines

Experience

• Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Knowledge of basic math skills for handling payments and making change
• Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures for maintaining hygiene and safety
• Experience in bartending or serving is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members

Pay: £12.71-£19.45 per hour
