Waitress

Job Summary

The Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking food and beverage orders, serving customers, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus and explain food and beverage items when required.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers.
• Enter orders correctly into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Check on customers regularly to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle customer requests, questions, and complaints professionally.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar team to ensure orders are prepared and served correctly.
• Clear and clean tables after customers leave.
• Set up tables with cutlery, napkins, glasses, and other required items.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene in the dining and service areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and company procedures at all times.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Inform the Supervisor or Manager of any customer concerns, damaged equipment, shortages, or operational issues.
• Process payments and provide accurate bills when required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and complete uniform at all times.
• Support other restaurant team members as needed.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Waitress or in a similar restaurant position is preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays as required.
