Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to set a positive tone for their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted
• Serve food, cocktails, wine, spirits, and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items including drinks, desserts, and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or other sales transaction tools
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, assist with bussing, and ensure sanitation standards are upheld at all times
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, cocktail options, and food safety practices to enhance the guest experience

Experience

• Previous food service experience in restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightclubs is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is essential
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally
• Experience with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
• Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation protocols in the food industry
• Background in hospitality or guest relations roles that demonstrate a commitment to guest satisfaction
