  We are seeking a professional and engaging Waitress to join the hospitality team at Escape Haven Bali, located in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional service in a dynamic hospitality environment. As a Waitress, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for our guests through attentive, courteous service and attention to detail. This role is fundamental to our operations, directly contributing to guest satisfaction and the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting guests warmly and seating them at tables according to availability and preference
• Providing menus and offering beverages whilst maintaining a professional demeanour
• Taking accurate food and beverage orders and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
• Delivering food and drinks promptly to tables, ensuring correct orders and presentation standards are maintained
• Checking on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and addressing any concerns or requests immediately
• Processing payments, handling cash and card transactions accurately, and providing change or processing refunds as required
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, tables, and service stations
• Clearing tables efficiently and resetting them for the next service
• Following health, safety and hygiene protocols consistently
• Assisting with special requests, dietary requirements and allergen information with knowledge and sensitivity
• Working collaboratively with team members, kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as waiting staff or in a similar hospitality role, ideally in a busy restaurant or hotel environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues
• Excellent customer service orientation with a genuine desire to create positive guest experiences
• Attentiveness to detail and the ability to remember orders and preferences accurately
• Physical stamina and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods
• Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing priorities during service
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette
• Ability to work efficiently within a team environment under pressure
• Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and calculating bills
• Proficiency in English is essential; additional language skills are advantageous
• A friendly, professional appearance and positive attitude
