Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using the POS system.
• Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, restaurant policies, and services.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or providing information as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to build rapport with guests and create positive guest relations.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or reservations.
• A friendly demeanor and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
