Waitress/Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Waitress / Bartender to join our vibrant team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring that all guests receive top-notch service in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to engage with customers and provide recommendations will be key to enhancing their overall experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Engage with guests, providing excellent customer service and responding to their needs promptly.
• Upsell drinks and menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for managing tabs and payments.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain efficient service flow.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, with a solid understanding of guest services.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential.
• Experience in culinary or kitchen roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong time management skills are necessary to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
