Position Type: Part-Time (3 days per week: Friday, Saturday & Sunday)

The Old Stone House Restaurant is a staple of Roscommon’s dining scene, renowned for delicious cuisine, a warm atmosphere, and outstanding customer service. We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and friendly individual to join our front-of-house team for weekend shifts!

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end exceptional service to restaurant guests, from warm welcomes to farewells.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and submit them to the kitchen and bar.
• Guide guests through the menu, offering recommendations and answering queries regarding ingredients and allergens.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, efficiently, and with high presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and order across dining tables, service stations, and the main floor.
• Prepare the dining area for service (setting tables, polishing glassware/cutlery, restocking essentials).
• Process payments using the POS system (cash and card transactions).
• Communicate effectively and collaborate smoothly with kitchen staff and floor team members.

Requirements

• Experience: Previous waiting/hospitality experience is preferred (training will be provided for candidates with great potential and motivation!).
• Language Skills: Fluent spoken English is required to communicate seamlessly with guests and colleagues.
• Availability: Must be available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (including evening shifts).

• Valid right to work in Ireland (PPS Number required).
