Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and customer-focused Waitress/Bartender to join our team. This role combines table service and bar service, requiring someone who can handle a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent hospitality.

The ideal candidate is personable, efficient, and confident in both serving food and preparing drinks, while creating a welcoming and upbeat atmosphere for guests.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet guests promptly and provide a friendly, professional dining experience
• Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system
• Make menu recommendations, including Jamaican and Chinese specialties

Food & Beverage Service

• Serve food and beverages efficiently and correctly
• Ensure tables are clean, organized, and reset quickly
• Check in with guests to maintain satisfaction throughout their visit

Bartending Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Mix basic cocktails and house specialty drinks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Monitor alcohol consumption and follow responsible serving guidelines

Upselling & Sales

• Promote specials, drinks, and add-ons to increase ticket size
• Deliver a strong guest experience that encourages repeat business

Team Support

• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Assist teammates during busy periods
• Handle cash, process payments, and close out tabs accurately

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server, bartender, or in a similar role preferred
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of cocktails, beer, and liquor (training can be provided)
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time / Full-time available
