Waitress/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food industry. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience while efficiently managing their orders and needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality presentation.
• Assist with any guest inquiries or special requests to enhance their dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.
• Process payments accurately using cash registers or POS systems.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure guest health and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining settings, is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations and food handling practices is an asset.
• Experience with POS systems, specifically Aloha POS, is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and assisting guests as needed.
