Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and balancing registers at shift end.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery and ensure timely service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently while maintaining high-quality service.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service practices, monitoring guest consumption to promote safety and prevent over-intoxication

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently.
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Experience with serving or culinary activities is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
