Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
• Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and time management skills.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring excellent guest services at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain smooth operations during service hours.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
• Basic culinary skills are advantageous.
• Strong time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services and hospitality.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
• A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and ability to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
