Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
• Take accurate orders from guests, ensuring all dietary needs and preferences are noted.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining a high level of presentation and quality.
• Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns swiftly.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout your shift.
• Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation times and ensure timely service.
• Assist in basic food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen operations during busy periods.
• Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills while providing exceptional guest service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory; a passion for guest service is essential.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for billing and transactions.
• Familiarity with serving techniques, upselling strategies, and restaurant operations.
• Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus, supporting seamless coordination between front-of-house and kitchen teams.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables simultaneously without compromising service quality.
• A genuine interest in providing outstanding guest services that create memorable dining experiences.
