Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
• Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Process cash and credit transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales recording
• Ensure all food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are strictly followed in compliance with food safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, including glassware, utensils, and workstations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery for guests
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable to assist with seating arrangements when needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Demonstrated cocktail experience along with spirits knowledge; familiarity with wine service is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while processing sales swiftly
• Basic math skills for managing bills, tips, and change confidently
• Knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
• Previous experience in hospitality or the food industry is highly desirable
• Strong time management skills to juggle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
