Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Serve food, cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages with professionalism and flair
• Upsell menu items including specialty drinks and premium dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales records
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies
• Assist with food preparation, beverage handling, and setup for service periods when needed
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for processing sales transactions
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests enthusiastically and professionally
• Experience handling cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods while maintaining high standards of service quality
• Basic math skills for processing bills, calculating tips, and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Culinary or food industry experience is a plus for understanding food safety practices and food handling procedures
• Excellent communication skills paired with a positive attitude to enhance guest experiences in diverse settings including nightclubs or upscale restaurants

Pay: $17.75 - $45.00 per hour
