Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of food and beverage options.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating beverage service expertise.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue through effective sales techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling areas and during service to ensure food safety compliance.
• Process cash and card payments accurately while handling cash transactions with integrity.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery, supporting smooth restaurant operations.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest relations.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail mixing techniques, and beverage service standards.
• Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
