Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant software, and provide correct change.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting smooth restaurant operations during busy hours.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and sales management.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing sales totals.
• Familiarity with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations to ensure guest health and safety.
• Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction.
• Strong communication skills coupled with guest relations expertise to foster positive interactions.

Pay: $7.25 - $30.00 per hour
