Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items including wine, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Process cash and card transactions accurately, including handling tips and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations; bus tables promptly to prepare for new guests
• Assist with food handling, beverage preparation, and basic food safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other processing software
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest relations
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
• Experience with upselling strategies to boost sales and enhance guest experience
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or busser is a plus
