Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, and relay orders efficiently to kitchen staff
• Provide expert beverage service, including cocktail preparation and wine recommendations, while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally, maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation throughout service
• Process cash transactions accurately and handle sales transactions with attention to detail, including credit card processing and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all service areas, including bussing tables, resetting dining stations, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Engage with guests to ensure their needs are met, fostering positive guest relations and addressing any concerns promptly

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order entry and transaction processing
• Extensive food industry experience with a focus on food handling, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Strong knowledge of beverage service techniques including spirits, cocktails, wine knowledge, and drink presentation
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest inquiries professionally
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is preferred but not required; a background in hospitality or food service is highly valued
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing purposes and sales transactions processing
