Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through menus, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, with precision and flair
• Manage cash transactions efficiently while processing sales accurately through POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations; handle food preparation when necessary
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas swiftly to accommodate new guests
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, cocktail mixing, spirits, wine varieties, and food handling procedures
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to upsell and enhance guest experiences
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and orders efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment
