Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
• Handle restaurant reservation management using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate bookings effectively
• Maintain accurate restaurant table management systems, ensuring timely seating and efficient table turnover
• Provide attentive guest services by answering phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and assisting with reservation requests
• Support food service operations by communicating orders between front-of-house and kitchen staff, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages
• Uphold food safety standards and cleanliness protocols in all guest interactions and table settings
• Assist in organizing the dining area, including setting tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere

Experience

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred, demonstrating familiarity with restaurant operations and guest relations
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests, team members, and management
• Experience with restaurant reservation management systems and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Basic math skills for handling guest checks, billing, and cash transactions accurately
• Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure a safe and enjoyable dining environment
• Ability to handle phone communication professionally while maintaining a friendly demeanor
