Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlist or reservations using OpenTable or similar systems
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities such as wine pairings or signature cocktails
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales transactions efficiently
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety protocols, including food handling and sanitation practices
• Upsell menu items including spirits, wines, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue
• Clear tables efficiently, assist with bussing duties, and ensure cleanliness in dining areas according to sanitation standards
• Process cash and credit card payments accurately; handle cash transactions with basic math skills while providing excellent guest relations throughout the service experience

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances guest interactions
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and creating welcoming atmospheres
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience in hosting or hostess roles is advantageous; prior bartending or beverage knowledge is a plus

Pay: $4.00 - $8.00 per hour
