Waitstaff/Server

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
• Sell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, ensuring smooth sales transactions
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with food safety regulations
• Engage with guests to build rapport, answer questions about menu items, and promote specials or promotions

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Experience with cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, spirits service, and beverage presentation is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create welcoming guest relations
• Background in fine dining or high-volume restaurant environments is desirable
