Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations and restaurant policies

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings such as country club
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills during high-volume shifts
• Culinary experience or background in food preparation is highly desirable
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is a plus; experience in bussing or guest relations is beneficial
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
