Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Waitstaff/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive food and beverage service in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. Your enthusiasm, professionalism, and attention to detail will ensure guests feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, possesses strong communication skills, and has a solid background in food and beverage service.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and drink options, including wine and spirits knowledge.
• Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Upsell menu items, including specialty cocktails and premium spirits, to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, process payments, and provide correct change or receipts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, including bussing tables and assisting with food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly to foster guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs professionally.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is beneficial but not required.

Pay: $22.17 - $26.70 per hour
