Waitstaff/Server

Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and assist with menu selections to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately, handle cash register operations, and manage guest checks with precision
• Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and cleanliness practices
• Support bar service by preparing beverages including cocktails and spirits with expertise in beverage service and drink presentation

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that fosters guest relations
• Ability to multitask effectively using time management skills during busy service hours
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and handling cash accurately
• Food safety certification or understanding of sanitation standards in the food industry
• Previous experience in food preparation, bussing, host/hostess duties or cashiering is advantageous

Pay: From $7.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
