Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food service industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with precision and care.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems.
• Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and address any guest concerns promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings to provide informed recommendations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
• Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
• Experience as a host/host or in guest services is beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Projected Total Compensation: $19.86 - $23.92 per hour
