Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
• Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
• Maintain a clean, organized work area adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights or events such as nightlife or nightclub settings

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles is highly desirable
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
• Excellent communication skills to engage guests confidently and professionally
• Hospitality background with an understanding of guest relations and sales techniques such as upselling
