Waitstaff/Server

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and friendly Waitstaff/Server to join our vibrant dining team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing guests with memorable service that keeps them coming back. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest has a fantastic experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, has excellent communication skills, and enjoys working in a lively, fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards, including cocktail and spirits service.
• Upsell menu items, including wine, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and sales.
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales and change handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and beverage options to enhance the dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or hospitality experience is strongly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and sanitation practices.
• Experience with cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine service, and beverage presentation is desirable.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.

Pay: $15.00 - $38.00 per hour
