Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food, cocktails, wine, spirits, and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper presentation standards
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and cleanup procedures
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas swiftly to maintain a clean environment
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, wine pairings, or special requests with enthusiasm and knowledge

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or food industry settings; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and giving correct change
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and guest-focused approach
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in food handling and serving environments

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 32.0 per week
