Waitstaff/Server

Overview
Palazzos Westchase is seeking friendly and professional Servers to join our dynamic team in a vibrant dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, possess strong food and beverage knowledge, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is preferred. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting that values hospitality, attention to detail, and teamwork. Prior experience in fine dining, food service, or hospitality industries is highly desirable.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service in accordance with restaurant standards
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
• Maintain guest relations by addressing inquiries, special requests, or concerns professionally
• Support host/host duties as needed during busy periods

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant industry, or hospitality preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous host/host or serving experience is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance are essential for success in this role

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
