Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS system
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, bar stations, and service stations
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Use reservation management tools like Toast Table to coordinate seating and manage waitlists
• Demonstrate extensive beverage knowledge, including spirits experience and wine expertise
• Ensure food safety practices are followed diligently in all aspects of service

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of Toast POS system
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
• Experience with beverage service, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and food handling preferred
• Hospitality background with server experience is desirable
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
